exactly one month before the Opening Ceremony

25 Managers have been working for months. Now they are completely ready and waiting for more than 200 participants from 24 countries and 5 continents to arrive :-)

1 May 2008: 

The French Caribbean Islands raised the amount of participating countries to 24 from 5 continents.

21 March 2008: 

At this time 23 countries from 5 continents have confirmed their participation

January 2008: 

An official invitation has been sent to all eligible countries

If your country did not receive this invitation, contact asap the Organizing Committee and request for the link to get to the online registration page. To make use of your country quota and to apply for extra spots you have to enter before February 1st, 2008

This summer the preparation of the Optinam 2008 has started! Volunteers are working on the organization of this event every day now. A couple of them enjoyed the Optinam in Mexico this year, which was a big success.

Soon there will be more information on this website about the venue, the accommodation and the sailing conditions. Also, the website will undergo a metamorphosis as soon as we have an event logo.
